I sure will try the walking barefoot in the grass trick next time.. I’ve tried the No Jet Lag supplements which also seem to work. Do you bring back favorite kitchen or food items from Paris.

Please let me know if the trick works! I need further proof than just myself. I didn't bring food home this trip, but I used to stock up on tinned sardines and fleur de sel. Now you can get those here, though. It's the fresh stuff I wish I could import. And the wines.

OH, give us a break, Laura. I like "Bourgeois bistro food from days of yore". It's updateable, you know.

I quite like it not updated and left to be what it is. But, it's a totally different kind of food from what I was talking about.

Well, I know the term "bourgeois" is used in a somewhat more historical sense in this case, but it hit me as snarky. I just busted my butt learning that stuff!!! All the best.

Not snarky. Sorry if it sounded that way. I love classical French food. I've written reams about it and made a zillion shows about it. But, I really love the new stuff right now. It's so fresh and colourful and creative and off the cuff. I can't get enough of it.

Thank you for the reminder of how great simple things really are….and how the light hearted energy surrounding simplicity also adds to any occasion. Happy Canada Day! Enjoy the dogs. Cheers!

Good for you for that grounding trick. It's actually good to do every day if you can - and you have the lush lawn to do it on. I had never thought of using it for jet-lag! Thanks.

I'm all for the simplest, freshest and quickest meals with the least amount of clean-up. Easiest to do in the summer.

You're right. I should do it every day!

So should I. I actually find it difficult to maintain, even though the grass is right there, waiting!
